We work closely with the client and other project members to review the requirements outlined within the water authority’s formal correspondence and develop a strategy to address these. We are certified Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) designers and accredited Hunter Water Corporation (HWC) design consultants. We have built strong relationships with the Hunter Water personnel and work with them through the design process to ensure an efficient approval process. Hunter Water Procedures
In July 2017, Hunter Water introduced a new asset delivery model for developer works placing more autonomy within the development community in the delivery of infrastructure. The accredited design consultant is now responsible for ensuring compliance with design standards and collaborating with the plumbing contractor to certify the works have been built in accordance with the design. We have invested a significant amount of time since July 2017 training our staff and developing internal procedures in consultation with Hunter Water to ensure we can continue to offer our clients a complete and efficient service.
